On April 4 and 5, 2025 KCDH-A, in collaboration with EXL Service, organized a two-day workshop titled “Transforming Healthcare with AI and Data Science.” 

This workshop served as a pre-event to the World Health Summit Regional Meeting. With an overwhelming response to registrations, we were fortunate to select the top 25 candidates to attend both days of the workshop

With 50+ participation, Day 1 featured two key segments - a speaker’s session followed by a hands-on training module. The speaker lineup included distinguished experts from the field of healthcare and AI such as Dr. Sandeep Budhiraja (Group Medical Director, Max Healthcare), Dr. Anjali Agrawal (Radiologist, TeleRadiology Solutions), Dr. Krithika Rangarajan (Assistant Professor, AIIMS), Dr. Rajesh Pandey (Principal Scientist, CSIR-IGIB), along with our in-house speakers - Dr. Anurag Agrawal (Dean, Biosciences and Health Research, Ashoka University), Dr. Subhashis Banerjee (Head of Computer Science, Ashoka University), and Dr. Tanmoy Roychowdhury (Associate Professor of Biology, Ashoka University). The sessions explored critical topics such as Biomedicine, Digitalisation and Privacy, Genomics, Radiology, Data Analytics, and AI in Healthcare. The second half of the day featured a hands-on training session led by the EXL Service team. 

Participants were trained in practical applications of Data Science and AI in healthcare, including Natural Language Processing and Generative AI. Selected candidates who committed to attending the full two-day workshop are also offered the opportunity to participate in the World Health Summit Regional Meeting 2025. The Transforming Healthcare with AI and Data Science workshop received overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Participants praised the engaging content, knowledgeable speakers, and relevance of the content delivered during the hands-on session. They appreciated the balance between theory and practical application, clear explanations  and real-world examples.
